McDonald also “sang” on a number of Steely Dan albums. Never cared much for his vocal stylings.

I liked his backing vocals on "Bad Sneakers".

Agreed! A bunch of years ago local TV was running ads for one of his solo albums. That ad ran so often that it got to the point I almost puked every time I heard one of his songs........I still do to this day

You know you are getting old when your favorite bands from the 60/70’s are dying and getting too old to play (Frampton et al). I wonder what concerts I’ll be going to in the next 5-10 years as I tend not to enjoy today’s music with some exceptions. Maybe just jazz festivals and stuff.
