I had what I believed was mrsa. I used several at home remedies and managed to cure it. Was black and spreading. Epson salt and water. Antibiotic ointment. Tea tree oil.
One of my cats was rattlesnake bit last summer. Gave her industrial strength oral antibiotics and a penicillin injection.
By the time the necrotic tissue fell away, she had a hole 5” across and 3/4” deep. I dressed it with manuka honey. Within 48 hours all new very clean and healthy tissue was rebuilt. My vet and I were shocked.
Only the skin had to be pulled together. It took 22 staples and the vet said that it was the cleanest wound she had ever seen.
Scientists forsooth. This has been known for centuries. Ancient Egyptians knew and used honey.
Another one for your notebook. Aloe vera like honey is almost a miracle salve for wounds and skin. Not processed, but sap straight from a fresh cut leaf. Wounds and cuts heal up fast with almost no scaring at all. We even cured one of our daughters Eczema with it. Every time a spot started to appear we would treat it and the next day it was completely gone. After a couple months they stopped appearing altogether and have not been back.
+. At least thirty years for me.

You are a hero. Thanks for sharing.
I am not a hero but I keep sharing the story because it was miraculous how fast manuka honey restored the flesh.
I think everyone should keep manuka in their clinic or medicine cabinet.
