Correct. Any obsession about anything can become bigger than intended and one can lose control.
The Supreme Court is in their way. After the Abortion ruling the Left are worried our guns will be safe in our hands.
Ashli Babbitt and Buffalo Hat Guy aka “The QAnon Shaman” are the best-known Q followers in the Capitol on Jan 6. IIRC, a disproportionate number of those initially arrested were Q followers. You can do your own internet search if curious.
Re your post #10. Nearly all conservatives recognize our government agencies (and other institutions, too) have been taken over by the left. This is self-evident and perfectly reasonable. Many Q followers, including some here on FR, believe things like Trump is still president and took the nuclear football home with him, Biden’s inauguration was not real but was some sort of funeral ceremony, and even more, er, unusual beliefs not shared by non-Q conservatives.
The Dems announced long ago they planned to smear all Trump supporters as “QAnons”:

We need to draw a clear line between Q and MAGA.
Great question and I’ve thought about it myself.
If he was anti-vaccine obsessed, perhaps one or more of his family where planning on getting vaccinated or already had been and he just found out.
I can only guess based on conversations here with anti-vaccine people.
Some believe the vaccines release HIV.
So who knows what was in his mind.
That may be true, but if she is a RAT, she is also stupid. I would imagine all the fear tactics and loss of freedom, masks, forced shots and government and media demonization of people who did not want to be vaxed with an experimental shot that ended up not working had more to do with his paranoia.
I see what you are trying to do. Cut it out.
The Covid mandates and restrictions and job losses really didn’t take place in Michigan. In the beginning there were lockdowns, many counties in the north decided to ignore them.
But there hasn’t been Covid or vaccine harassment in Michigan for 2 years.
If true that Igor was obsessed about Covid and vaccines, there is plenty of material on the internet to reinforce that obsession.
Why is “Q follower” a bad phrase? They are proud to be followers of Q and make no bones about it. It seems perfectly polite to me. They object to being called Qanons, so I never call them that except when directly quoting a headline or article in the media. And no, it hasn’t died down.
What are you talking about?
Very little documented violence is associated with Q Followers.
Incidents that have been reported/documented although rare, are often close to home and domestic cases.
What’s wrong with that? Q Followers are typically not violent. Do you think they are? I don’t.
What scares the hell out of me is the FBI ect. monitoring these sites WHICH THEY ARE, and instigating people on these sites that are on the edge WHICH THEY ARE DOING!!!
You can’t have it both ways which is exactly what you are doing with this post.
That two years, Michigan being one of the most draconian, did a lot of damage to people physically and mentally. To claim otherwise is to lie.
Your whole post #67 was all BS lies.
When a “conservative” adopts the same tactics and uses the same words and manipulative conversation RATs use, I will point it out.
“Q made me do it”. 😏
Rats live on no evil star.
oops.
sorry. not an anagram...palindrome maybe...
True, we will never know what was going on in his mind.
A number of Q followers seem hyper-sensitive to anything they perceive as a slight or criticism of their beliefs, and lash out with surprising viciousness. Many have been cut off from family and friends who tire of their obsessions, which must be very painful. Many really have been mocked and ridiculed by those who do not share their beliefs, and I can see where that would get to them.
Who knows whether this guy went over the edge and lashed out with deadly force at his wife and daughter because he believed they had criticized his beliefs? He was probably mentally unstable to start with and might have found something else to obsess over, lizard people or contrails or climate change or whatever.
Whatever his demented “reason” for murdering his wife and daughter, it is such a terrible and tragic thing to happen to any family and I pray for them.
And add schizophrenic....
I sadly watched my best friend's brother, who was around 30 years old, develop schizophrenia. It's a horrible disease that affects every member of the family.....
In my friend's brother's case, he lost his business, lost his wife, lost his home and in the beginning he ended up living on a beach in northern Michigan until fall arrived and my friend was able to get the brother institutionalized for a period of time.
There is always a small percentage of the population that only needs some delusional group to feed their paranoia until they go “bat-shit-crazy.”

The government imposed covid lockdown helped push mentally fragile people over the edge. We’re going to suffer fallout from this government-assisted disaster for years.
That’s my opinion too.
It could have been “ancient aliens theorists” obsession that he fixated on and killed his family.
People need to take a break from all electronic media and live life.
Sometimes there is no answer other than people let their beliefs become an obsession. Like the Bernie bot who shot up the GOP practice session.
Sure, Joe Biden being a prime example of that..
