The prenatal screen for group B strep refers to vaginal colonization with the bacteria. You can indeed be colonized and not have symptoms. I was group B strep positive with my 3rd pregnancy and got the antibiotics..to prevent newborn sepsis. He’s 19 now and serving his country.
I know I do not trust doctors or nurses writ large. They have no issue murdering you or I and think that they are doing the world a favor. These people murder babies.

Look it up. If mom test positive ( and many do not have symptoms) she can pass it on to her baby. And, in some cases, baby can develop symptoms much later.
I am betting she was refusing a PKU test on the baby , which shows how uninformed Candace Owens is.
We all think parents should not do gender transitions on their children, and government should make laws preventing that. But we also need to protect babies ( via CPS) when parents refuse tests that can have life altering effects on their children. And I may be wrong, but it is a governmental rule in some states to have PKU tests done in the hospital.
Blood tests are done at the time of birth not on day of going home. I call BS on the hospital
Vaxxes served a purpose in the at risk population with the original and delta variants. I believed they saved lives in those categories. Exactly correct, my son and daughter had two children recently, and refused even the Vitamin K shot, Hep B vaccination, and all other vaccinations until they see a need.

i suspect they wanted a cbc to look for early signs of sepsis although I cannot know for sure. That is the test I would have ordered
