What the heck does race have to do with this? Are they exempt from consequences because of the color of their skin? What happened to this country?

“She works as a principal in South Los Angeles”
So that’s why the story doesn’t mention what her dregrees are in. Education.
A monkey could pass those classes.
I tried to get a C in one, I didn’t study, didn’t read the book, even answered tests with eenie-meenie-miney-moe. I kept getting As.

Not feeling her ‘pain,’ at all.
Further proof that even people with ‘PhD’ behind their name’s are utter idiots.

Oddly, no mention of any attempt to pay back loans voluntarily taken out.

“Two little Black kids want this for their future,”
So black kids have dreams for their future. White kids don’t? Why are THEY special? I am so sick of this s**t!
And if she owes a ton of money for anything, including exorbitant school loans, she shouldn’t be popping out babies. Be responsible, for Pete’s sake!

Assumed $200K in loans knowing she couldn't pay them...and assuming her glorious socialist gov't. would cancel the debt.
All that debt for a HS principal job. Now she wants you to pay. Bah! She can work the street for cash.

She's a principal, the salary of which in California is pretty high, why can't she pay her debts? She's also got two kids, presumably out of wedlock. Why did she have kids without a husband around?
Her inability to pay off her debt is due to her own poor choices, which doesn't equate to anyone's problem other than her own.

With the burden of student loan debt, saving money for the future is not a luxury for many Black borrowers. The negroes in particular need to learn that making bad financial decisions has monetary consequences.

Government needs to get out of the student loan business. Let the investors decide if the grades and aptitude are worth investing.
To: grundle
When we took our mortgage it listed the total interest and principle for the 30 years. Don’t student loans do this or are they variable?
