Here’s a better idea - simplify the tax code. Drastically. Like 10% for all, not deductions, no exemptions, credits, no adjustments of ANY kind. So simple even a democRAT could figure it out.

If you want to discourage something, you tax it. If you want to encourage something, you subsidize it.

So why are we taxing income and subsidizing poverty?

You can't tax business, they can just pass the tax burden along to the consumer.

I spend little time “typing” because I have limited time to spend here, because others say things better, and because I can barely do 10 wpm on a good day. :) And my real world to-do list just keeps getting longer, leaving me lean, mean and tanned, perhaps, but with next to no time left over for any “butt sitting”. LOL But rest assured that I sift through the valuable contributions here each day or night, as the case may be, and spend the most of my online time forwarding the best comments and articles I find to those in my real-life loop. And the memes - oh yes, we can’t forget the memes (ThankQ all, and especially, foldspace and Melian!)

We all have our spheres of influence - if I can influence 20, and each one of those influences 20 - well, you know how that plays out. All I can say is I’m finding that more people out there are red-pilled and willing to talk about it today than I’d ever have dreamed of a short year ago.
