There’s a memorial on Pike’s Peak to people who perished in a snow storm. They were climbing the mountain to celebrate the 4th of July. So yes, it can happen. In summer.

Beartooth Pass is still closed, indefinitely. The late snow and subsequent rapid melting washed a lot of the road out on the Montana side. The Wyoming side is opened up quite aways towards the top.

Here in Seattle it was a wet and cold month of June. Last weekend we had temps in the low 90’s for two days. The same folks complaining about the cold were complaining about the heat!
