His views are honestly the future and blueprint for how conservatives must market their views. He mixes free thinking, traditional right wing principles with a dose of social compassion that honestly isn’t a bad thing imo.
I’ll admit, his personal style is grating to me.
But his at least semi-awakened perspective has been really helpful, given how broad his reach is.
I watch him daily.
“I didnt used to like this guy...”
I worked with him on the set of “Get Him to the Greek” here in Hollywood back when I was still an intern. Back then, I knew he was a conservative or leans when on a break during the set he asked the set director “why are there so many homeless outside?”
The lefty director said some BS about inequality etc (white guilt crap) and he retorts I swear, “maybe these blokes are just damn lazy?” We conservatives knew what he was referring to, but some did not get it..
Um, he’s not trustworthy.
I have watched a number of his videos. Can’t put faith in a guy that has tatted up his arms and chest like he has.
I don’t always agree with him, but he usually has good points. Its kind of like drinking from a fire hose though. He stuffs 45 minutes of content into about 15 minutes.
I’ve been watching Brand from the beginning of his standup career (lifelong comedy fan) and he’s always been an individualist thinker. He never really fit into any political or social category, but rather challenged everything as his shtick. He’s not conservative, but he’s also not totalitarian either. A true free thinker that one.
“Ha ha ha, you shoul’n’t elbow people in the daugh’er!”
