You’re 1st class and urban, educated and honest. The ranchers and farmers in the del are prolly the same, but they aren’t claiming urban. No one actually has to have hay in their ears and eat cattle cake to be a bonofide Texan.
Some of this slang thang sounds more bayou LA and Georgia, as it ever was even Texas, but, we Texans are roundly known for some bodacious bragging, claims and yarns, and sizing up everything that is, and even Is not seen. 😄
