Batteries being long lasting doesn’t eliminate the waste. Once a newer tech battery comes along, the older batteries will end up in landfills just like Ipods and Commodore computers.
#10 This way you can swap bodies out with ease
And people think stealing catalytic converters are a problem!
You walk out to your car and only the ‘shell’ is left.
And here I thought that this was about a battery that didn’t have to be re-charged for a hundred years or 4 million miles.. Whichever came first! 🙄
Now That would be an accomplishment! 🙃
I have 4000+ sqft dual zone AC and 7 freezers and fridges plus a 1500 sqft three bedroom guest house all on 20 acres so not for me, the guest house has another 10,000 worth of panels they both back feed the grid and neither has a power bill I send back more than we use at night by far. I even leased a tesla for a year and charged that. One of my side hussles with a couple buddies is solar systems. They had the idea, I had the LLC and venture capital so now I’m mostly a semi silent partner. We get solar at wholesale rates with my TIN numbers it’s a fraction of what retail costs are. A $40,000 retail system is 1/3 that in actual components. We make a killing on the install and financing. It’s money in my pocket love it.
