Diesel fuels the country, both rail and trucks. “and commercial fishing”
~~~
oops - and AIR! Americans are too used to freedom to travel,freedom to hit the road, freedom to purchase food and goods as we want, freedom to heat and cool our houses, freedom to TURN ON THE LIGHTS!
We’re not going to take much more.
Throughout this I’ve been paying attention to the travel industry. Just imagine how much jet fuel costs now. Likely more layoffs coming at the travel website company I used to work for.
heard on radio - someone making minimum wage in NY works one full day to fill a sedan to get to work.
we still have our chest freezer we bought over 40 yrs ago...and we have three other 2nd hand freezers that we got thru craigs list and family....
we have lots of meat since hubby hunts....
problem with freezers is electricity is needed and if that is interrupted, its a problem...
yes we have a large generator but you would need a lot of gas to keep it going for longer than just a few days....ours is gas only but they do make them for gas or propane...
only somewhat sure solution is solar....then again, would it would okay during winter?...
gas /propane generators are fine but what if there is no gas to be had?
> gas /propane generators are fine but what if there is no gas to be had?
You’re better off with propane. I’m planning to convert my gas generator over to it.
At any time I always have 25 gallons of gas on hand. I plan on expanding that. I use 5 gallon VP Racing cans and use a battery operated transfer pump to fill up my 2 gallon can and then use that to fill my machines. Always use Sta-bil!
Oh, and as far as propane companies go, it kind of works opposite of how you think it would. Don’t go with a large company. Go with a family business. I dealt with this last winter. I won’t go into details unless you want me to.
Congress Is Poised To Pass A Bill Which Will Cost Big Tech
A bill to change the algorithm. [waves finger in the air]
The problem is the monopoly. These companies need to be broken up and the first amendment needs to be enforced.
We should have stood up to this years ago.
The “Well, that sucks.” attitude is killing this nation.
Time to embrace the suck or do something about it...
“Much more” of the infringement of our CONSTITUTIONALRIGHTS has to stop now!!!
