I was just going to say don’t they have security cameras shows this happening. Does the teacher get her phone or get a smoke.
As for the School missing cope. Who was taking a joy ride? That does not sound right either.
There are quite a few people not doing their job to protect the kids and a huge lawsuit will be involved. But that will never bring the kids back.
Personally the school should be shut down. It was not run right. People are forced to pay taxes to run these schools and the workers do not even take the position seriously.
Many deserve to relieved of their jobs.

The teacher who propped the door open should be interviewed and asked why she did it.
No, she went INTO the school to get her phone, came BACK to the door, THEN called 911. THEN went back into the school leaving the door she opened, OPEN.
She probably heard the crash and went to investigate. Propping the door open so she wouldn’t get locked out.

A couple of things are sticking in my mind in the early stages of this fusterclock. Remember the punks text message where he apparently said he was going to “shoot a school?” Then the early video where he was approaching the back door. It appeared to me that he hesitated for several seconds before he stepped inside.
I realize I can’t out guess stupidity but maybe he didn’t originally intend to kill anybody, just blast the building, but when he found the door open, just took the opportunity to up his game. If he originally meant to kill he should have shot the two funeral home guys.
And now they say he shot over 300 rounds. That’s over 10 30-round mag changes. We know he can’t drive and he most likely isn’t gun-proficient either. That means there were 3-5 second, at least, breaks between mag changes. And our highly trained riot fuzzes couldn’t figger that out?
And I wrote before how we seem to have found out how the Aztecs died out. They hit their peak of technological civilization when they learned how to brick open a security door which made it possible to kill of their next generation a class room at a time.
Put the teacher in a room with a handgun and one round, and hope the problem solves itself.

How did the shooter get into the classroom? I thought all classrooms are supposed go into lockdown and the one where all the students and teachers were killed apparently didn’t. Once the shooter got in the police had to find a key to gain access. It sounds like there were TWO unlocked doors.

Though it should never be done regardless. Not for one minute, not for one second. There is a reason it is supposed to be closed and locked at all times and avoiding this kind of incident is exactly why that is basic security protocol.
