That's the truth. I tried calling about a problem a few weeks ago. After navigating through 3 or 4 different menus an announcement finally came on saying they could not take my call today and try calling another day.

Yes, I reached that FU dead end many many times. If you’re not calling to give them money, it is IMPOSSIBLE to figure out how to get actual help.

I had my son go through all his deposits as I helped him file his return to verify that he didn’t get any $1400 deposits or anything from Treasury or IRS other than 2020 tax refund.

My daughter had a $1400 direct deposit in 2021, my son hadn’t.
