I do worry about this myself. My wife had a stalker several years back and we actually had to get the FBI involved. She was a television personality at the time and this dude just came out of nowhere with no connection. He went to prison. He’s been out for a while. We’ve moved several times since then, but you never know.
It’s what got my wife her first handgun and she carries now all the time.

I’ll read up on this murder later tonight, but it’s a very unusual crime and seems to be very personal based on the killer’s actions.
If it was a mob or mafia hit then I agree with you the body wouldn’t have been dragged around. My first thought was maybe it’s a serial killer. Any other recent missing persons cases or unsolved murder victims that fit a similar profile in NYC metro?
