Isn’t that a bourbon & branch?

I concur. I have lived in Russia before and after the fall of communism, and my preference in adult beverages has changed over the years. But Crater Lake is the best vodka I have ever enjoyed.

no branch water here
I am in the high desert

My great uncles were all WWII pilots and they drank Jim Beam with water. When I had a cold, my grandmother would give me warm JB, honey and water.
I do not drink much, but I find that JB and water agrees with me more than any other adult beverages.

I agree. I’ve tried other liquors and drinks too, martinis, gibsons, etc. But I always return to bourbon. My favorite is a whiskey sour.

You’re in the high desert. I’m in New England. So I slip a little bourbon in herbal tea.

And like you, when I have a cold I have JB, honey and water, but add lemon. An old fashioned hot toddy on a cold winter night. It’s nature’s elixir.

Belvedere- polish...

That’s my favorite. Nice and smooth taste. I usually have it with a little club soda and a lime wedge.

I also like Tito’s for Bloody Marys and other mixed drinks.

In the USA. In Kentucky!

Surprisingly, the best vodkas are made in the USA!
Smirnoff, who had to escape Soviets after the revolution, was pretty much the first vodka brand in the USA. He was trying to market it as White Whisky. He had a hard time originally!
But eventually it grew into the largest producer of vodka in the world.
It is as American as Budweiser or pizza! It originated in Russia a long time ago, but it is made in the USA for about 90 years.
