that had to hesitate, they couldn’t see her in the bushes and had no idea if she was armed. If they had simple gone in at first and she had been armed, they could be dead.
I honestly think the police were extremely kind to her.
she most likely had a weave and the dogs teeth got stuck in it and as it tried to pull free it pulled her real hair out.
Pro tip: don’t hide in the bushes with your stolen goods while the cops and K-9 are ordering you to come out. All the money in the world is not going to make things better for this criminal, who is now going to steal from the taxpayer.

I bought a small container of eye shadow, about the size of a quarter coin, at that place and it cost $9. Wouldn't take much volume of $12 lipsticks, $15 compacts, etc. to rack up quite a haul to resell on eBay or in her neighborhood.
These brazen thieves come in with a sack and sweep whole counters full into the bag and sashay out the door, since the security guards aren't armed and the clerks aren't allowed to apprehend them.
Once when I was in a fabric store, I saw a woman (hiding in the back section) lift her burka, wrap an entire bolt of expensive fabric around her midsection, drop the burka over it and walk out. Guard couldn't do a thing.
I feel bad for the dog.

yes, I have one beside me at the moment. She is to the large end of the spectrum at 70 pounds.
They are tremendous athletes, mine is slowing down, though at 11 years old. When she was 3 years old, she could clock almost 40mph and jump over my shoulder while playing. The one pictured in the story is, however a german shepherd.
I've posted in the past that if stores really wanted to prevent shoplifting, they'd keep a German Shepherd by the exit doors.
The criminal type generally have a fear of dogs and will often abandon a planned crime in order to avoid them.
This is also why people put "Beware of Dog" signs in front of their houses, even though they may not even have a dog.

If I recall correctly, the bite force of a German Shepherd is about 600 lbs psi.
