We can dream.
“That was what I did, too! We probably ran into each other in those far-away dark recesses of the airport.”
LOL! Yea, it was torture as sometimes you need to be near the gate. For those cases, it was my noise-canceling headphones plus trying to be edge-on to the TV screens.
...and CNN paid next to nothing to get in our faces. I’m just surprised they’re finally gone.
CNN has become a political and malicious Weekly World News.
I didn't know that. Good news.
CNN at airports became a non-factor 10 yrs ago.
Everybody looking at “small screens” now.
Really? Well, I'll be ... I am not a traveler, by any means, but every time the topic of CNN comes up, someone mentions that captive audiences, like the crowds at airports, make up most of their audience, and it always ticked me. Rush used to bring this up, too.
Maybe Al Gore or some sheik in Qatar will buy it.
Trump would not need to buy CNN to start his own streaming news network.
Cable is obsolete. Internet news is the future.
“Cable is obsolete.”
Internet news like Free Republic is now and the future.
We are into about our 5th year of no fake cable news and
B$ left wing network shows.
I scan Fox News.com a few times a day, and a couple of other internet sites and Free Republic for our news.
We get Nixle and have a local weather station whose instruments are 300 yards from our home.
If you take any typical airport, 95% of the people waiting are looking at smartphones or tablets or laptops.
The CNN at airports was never the same as the CNN on consumer cable, so I’m not sure airport ratings could be added to household ratings.
CNN Airport shut down last year. The used to pay airports and supply equipment.
Thanks! Good info.
