The accusation about being offered bribes for throwing games is out of left field.

Soon ‘creative lawyering’ will force the colleges\universities to pay all participate in all varsity sports!
It won’t stop there; graduate students will demand nonfeudal academic serf wages. More ‘creative lawyering will see that the get it!
The sky’s the limit of financial pressure for public colleges\universities! Don’t you know taxpayers have infinite resources.

I was somewhat surprised by his firing after the Dolphins finished above .500 this season. They didn’t make the playoffs but they finished strong after a horrendous start. He must have gotten along poorly with the owner, whom he is now suing.
Blacks are likely 70% of players. Really surprised there aren’t more black coaches

My corporation does the same stupid crap where it has to interview a certain number of applicants, when they know ahead of time who’s getting the job. Infuriating.
...in 40+ years, I’ve interviewed hundreds of people and dozens for executive type positions. I ALWAYS interviewed in person and on executive types I usually interviewed 2-3 times before making a decision. For a CPA/lawyer one time, I interviewed a dozen people, some multiple times.
Flores is ate up with racism and has shot himself in the foot.

I heard that he told his own QB that he should have replaced in the last draft. One of the two had to go after that.

my thoughts exactly. From everything I saw, Miami is unlikely to be better off with the replacement. He was doing a great job. With this, the guy has major red flags.
Maybe some glimpse into what was going on inside the Dolphin offices that led to the decision?
Why does a black player need a black coach? I’ll bet 60% of coaches in the NFL are black and of all head coaches, I’ll bet more than 13% are black. I just don’t see a problem
35% of NFL assistant coaches are “black” FWIW.
