Although he looks like a lot of other suspects in crimes lately, having his picture out there should make some family member or associate say “what are we continuing to protect him for?”
Just being him to normal justice. Which we will monitor.
There have been a number of murders that have started happening where I live as the population of New Orleans starts flowing in. In December 2020, a gas station clerk from Mauritania was shot dead in the early morning hours by two black guys with masks on. It was his third day on the job.
They said he was begging them on camera to leave and take the money, but they shot him dead, anyway. In 2017, a 21 year old Cane’s manager, white female, was killed by stabbing during a group robbery.
I’d never allow my kids to work in any of those places. My oldest joined the Navy at 18, so that was something he never had to do. The 19 year old’s mother had to be aware that was not a good place for her daughter to be working, day or night.
Right; just a diversion/distraction to avoid truth...
The new NYC mayor wanted to hire his brother, and inserted that in there to justify the blatant nepotism-for-6 figures: “Let me be clear on this: My brother is qualified for the position. Number one, he will be in charge of my security, which is extremely important to me at a time when we see an increase in White supremacy and hate crimes”.
Within days another black man attacked another Asian (pushing her in front of a train, killing her); these were the black-on-Asian attacks where they tried to pretend MAGA people were attacking Asians.
He wasn’t allowed to hire his brother as deputy police commissioner...
I can’t imagine how they staff any service jobs in the areas filled with the idle permanent underclass; those “food deserts” are there for a reason. I see plenty of fast food postings in the hood; they use terms like “shift scheduler” or something similar just to try to add some dignity to it, but you’ll be the one rolling on the floor with the raging Simba when she wants free food...
Working in a fast food place isn’t safe now. I’m always afraid they’ll spit in my food. I have a feeling they’re going to start censoring the food fight videos on google and the internet, and all the other things the rest of the world views about the reality of American life now.
I hear you; I don’t eat as much of that junk as I used to because I’m older, but I’ve never gone to one in the “deep hood”. In my area they seem to be exclusively staffed by Hispanics with Asian (Arab or Indian) managers.
They already try to edit out any identifying logos in the online videos, and someone pointed out to me that the fast food places themselves had removed any logos in areas that feature prominently in those videos.
Everywhere here is the hood now with all the rentals popping up. Some of the places close down very early, because of a shortage of workers. I can’t resist those hot McDonald’s fries when my husband takes a trip to McDonald’s. It’s the only thing I order.
I homeschool my 12 year old because the public schools teach nothing and are over-crowded, so I do delivery on the side and always try to avoid certain areas. I can’t wait to sell the house after repairs are done after Hurricane Ida and move to a small town in the country where my husband has relatives.
There even used to be horse farms not too far away, but all that’s gone now.
Yes, my town has been changing like that for decades; more laundromats, check-cashing places, South American fast food, and every new construction is a multi-family.
It is an extension of “You’ll own nothing and be happy”; young people with no confidence in the job market don’t want to commit to mortgages - or children, so they see no point in owning a home (and they do retain some freedom/mobility by avoiding that). They lease cars, and when they die, the relatives need to simply drop off the leased car somewhere, return the rental unit keys to the building owner, list the pets on Craigslist, and that person disappears.
Everyday they import more and more people from the third world who have none of the values we have. It all started with the BS lie we’re all immigrants, and this is the “land of opportunity” lie when corporations started importing Europe’s excess population into sweat shops in the early 1900s.
I’m not even sure I’d vote for Trump, again, or any republican. All I hear is them pandering for votes to blacks and hispanics. They’re scared to death to even mention us.
But when this country needs warriors in the Infantry it’s always young, White men, especially from the Midwest and South to fight for “freedom”.
When “we were all immigrants looking for opportunity”, this country had a rigid system for transforming foreigners into productive citizens without “bilingual education”, a social “safety net”, and a Judeo-Christian code that would head off polygamy, female genital mutilation, etc..
The recent fire in the Bronx where 50% of the casualties were children was the second in my memory that tore through an imported Muslim hive; while some adults worked, American taxpayers were footing a large bill there. The women dressed like Tatooine’s Sandpeople/Tusken Raiders, and there was nothing “American” about them - their faith stripped them of freedom of any kind. A sad situation, but an indication of where we’re heading.
