Supreme Court Justices Spew ‘Shocking’ Misinformation During Arguments on Biden’s Vaccine Mandate

On Friday the Supreme Court heard arguments about the constitutionality of President Joe Biden’s Wuhan coronavirus vaccine mandates for private companies with more than 100 employees. In September 2021, Biden tasked OSHA with implementing and enforcing the mandates. In the time since, the administration has been sued by multiple parties.
During questioning, liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor made a number of false statements about the vaccine’s ability to prevent transmission of the virus. While it may protect against death or hospitalization, the vaccine does not prevent transmission.
“They continue to work well for Delta, with regard to severe illness and death – they prevent it. But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission,” CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said in an interview with CNN over the summer.
Sotomayor falsely claimed the Omnicron variant of the virus is just as deadly as the previous Delta version. This is false.

Good post. The justices or their staff are wildly unaware of the facts & circumstances. Or they are lying. This is really a sad state of affairs. I wonder if they are also as clueless on all other cases on which they render a decision.

Imagine a decision this big for the entire country and you couldn’t even bother to do a 5 minute Google search - or you’re just too corrupt to care.

And wasn’t a lot of the smashing and breaking in happening on a different side of the capitol building than where the rally-goers walked to?
IIRC, this was all happening before Trump even finished his speech so it wasn’t those there for the rally.
The whole thing stinks. Interesting they won’t release all the capitol security footage so the public can see what really happened.
