Maybe I wasn’t clear. “Not a good thing” meant “not a good thing to pounce on people who ask for sources”.
Sources are vital. Anyone can claim or say anything. And those making claims are the ones who are responsible for doing the research. Fine if others want to help out of course.
All I’m saying is that everyone should provide sauce. If someone wants to claim that Betty White is the sister of Barbara Bush, then they should provide sauce. If they do, and someone dismisses it, it is their responsibility to provide sauce as to why not. That’s debate.
