Actually, for all we know, President Trump may have already deciding on Pompeo. If this was the case, it’s not a bad idea to get out on the trail and meet the people. I’m sure he would be accepted with open arms as VP pick when it came out. It’s some out-of-the-box thinking, IMHO.
