Minimum, he should be charged with manslaughter, he caused the death of an innocent person.
Pointing an operable firearm at someone could be interpreted as intent, so murder could be on the table.
Accident seems to be the buzzword in all the stories, but is the investigation complete?

a union which represented prop masters learned that a “live round” was fired.

I would distrust anything a union would say on the matter. Usually the first information the media reports is wrong.

He’s a big enough slime bucket that he might have sexually harassed or even threatened the lady and she had proof and was threatening to out him. Bring a weapon to work and shoot and problem disappears.

Had Baldwin humbled himself and taken an NRA firearm safety training, instead of trying to have them shut down, he might have had enough sense to check the firearm himself to ensure it was safe.
While early, it sounds like he just may have violated every safety measure in handling a firearm.
Instead of supporting shutting down the NRA, he showed the necessity of their training.

Dear MSN and the rest of you communist media heads, Stop calling this a “prop gun”. If it was a prop gun then it couldn’t have been used to kill someone, could it?

The left keeps telling us that firearms should be illegal because their only purpose is to kill. Now we all know that the left knows that guns are dangerous. With that danger comes responsibility. When someone picks up a firearm he, and no one else, becomes responsible for what happens next, no matter what it is. If it’s a semi-auto firearm then rack the slide/charger twice, and check what comes out. Inspect the chambers of all firearms. There should have been a chamber flag in this publicly-accessible pistol up until the instant of filming.

A person who doesn’t know how to make a firearm safe should not be allowed to handle one. That clearly applies to Alec Baldwin.

Movie Plot time:

Check this out - a famous actor is using non-union crew to shoot a movie, right? The famous actor is famous for being not only an actor, but also a pompous ass, so folks already don’t like him. Now, we throw in a pissed off pro-union guy who is going to teach this actor “a lesson” by switching out a blank for a live round. Actor gets his hands on the gun and instead of shooting another actor, he winds up shooting the cinematographer and the director, killing the cinematographer, with ONE shot. Actor then goes nuts and heads into a deep depression where he winds up almost killing himself by jumping off a very tall and rolling doughnut, but is saved at the last minute by the President of the NRA!!! The actor then gets properly trained to use firearms, becomes a huge second amendment guy and then leads a militia into the start of CW2 where he and his crew single handedly save America from the commies!!!!

It could happen, right?

Alec Baldwin is also a producer of the film...he has serious skin in the game.

The victim, cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot first, bullet passed through her to the director.

Hutchins and her film crew had a dispute about safety on the set..
with a walk out imminent.

No cinematagrapher on the set then nothing productive happens as the expense taxi meter keeps rolling, ka-ching,ka-ching...

Non- union crew brought in to save costs. (as reported in other news items)

So what a tragic accident that just happened to kill the cinematographer with a single shot, the immediate thorn in the perpetually ill tempered Alec’s side.

This same guy....

On the NBC show “Late Night,” Baldwin said that in other countries “all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone Henry Hyde to death! We would stone him to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children.”

Accidently well aimed kill shot...yeah right.
