I have mixed feelings about him. I vividly remember the lead up to Gulf War I and hearing him on occasion, then I started to feel better it was he that was one of the decision makers. Up to that point, all I heard for 10 years prior was how bad we sucked in the execution of the Vietnam war/conflict whatever they wanted to call it.

I so wish people in the military would just stay our of politics.
