Numbers are inconvenient distractions, sort of like that truth thingy.
AOC went to the bank on Friday and demanded to see a mortgage banker. She explained that she had found a home in Georgetown, with stunning views of the Potomac River, and she just had to have it. The price was $7.5 million.
The banker said, “That’s great! How much money do you have for a down-payment?”. To which, AOC replied “None.”.
“Well then, what’s your annual income?” asked the banker.
AOC perked up and proudly said: “I’m a US Congress-woman and I make $174,000 a year!!”.
The banker said, “Look - there’s no way I can get a mortgage for you on a $7.5 million house with nothing down, and when you only make $174,000. The principal & interest alone is nearly $400,000.”
To which AOC replied: “The problem is, this conversation shouldn’t be about numbers.”

After all, she is from Brooklyn. Numbers beyond a dozen or so are too difficult to those folk (new yorkers — that’s why the never migrated westward — too much work).
Level a tax on stupidity, it seem to be an abundant commodity.
Even more ludicrous that scores of demented post menapausal old ladies, Pelosi, Clinton, Feinstein, Sotomayor, Collins, Murkowski, Waters, Duckworth etc. etc. etc. have real power in the Federal government and are destroying this once great nation. Never in history has any civilization allowed old ladies the power and influence that exists in modern day America. Its been about one hundred years since women were allowed the vote and objective historians will one day note it has been an unmitigated disaster for the American nation. It is not misoginist to note the truth.

Now the bartender thinks it would be a good idea to pass 3.5 trillion but only half fund it in years. This is a totally ludicrous solution, pass mandates but fund them for a year - I can’t imagine that bartender thinking will prevail.

Absolutely spot on. That is exactly how she's thinking. She might say to him, if you don't give me the loan, I'll have you killed.
Let’s take some of that money and establish some civil liberties classes, maybe some gun safety classes, the civil rights group to investigate any bias groups, such as black or Hispanic member-only organizations, Maybe rewards for rounding up and deporting illegal aliens
