Maybe Biden has discovered a way to purge conservatives from the bureaucracy.

Yeah its likely something of an exaggeration. Some 31.1% of federal workers are veterans. Also roughly 31% (2010 number) are unionized.

Dear HR:

You propose to fire me because I might be a danger to other federal employees.

These other federal employees walk out the front door and quite often catch a packed Metrobus or a standup-room-only subway car(in a subway station having massive numbers of people who pass in opposite directions). These public transport vehicles are filled with strangers, a large percentage of which are unvaccinated, and often come from all parts of the USA (including from areas where Covid is raging) to visit their national capital and its museums.

My fellow employees have to eat. They often do so by sitting down a quite crowded restaurant where every other table has been very recently or is currently used by strangers, many of whom are unvaccinated and who must unmask for extended periods of time to eat their food. While waiting for their food to be prepared, these often unvaccinated strangers often talk vigorously.

At other times, my fellow employees or their intimate partners buy food from the area’s generally well-patronized grocery stores, each of which often has dozens of unvaccinated fellow shoppers in it. Over a course of a single day, it is quite possible for a single Giant or Harris Teeter grocery store to have had hundreds of unvaccinated persons in it, most of whom walked down the majority of aisles in the store.

The chance that one of my fellow employees catching Covid from me is magnitudes smaller than from strangers in a crowded public transport vehicle, restaurant, store or from one of many unvaccinated strangers walking past.

....

There’s a woman in my local bar who recently came down with some rare brain disorder that seems to be killing her. It’s already affecting her speech. She’s probably in her mid-40s and always looked and seemed healthy. I’d be interested to know if she had one of the vaxxes prior to the onset of this brain disease. I’d say it’s more likely than not that she did. If so, the question is, is there any connection?

Except for congress, congressional staffers, federal judges, and Whitehouse staffers. All exempt from the mandate (which is not a law).

Good advice, cgbg! ducttape45, if you are retirement eligible, then apply for retirement ASAP to secure your pension - don’t allow China Joe and his minions to fire you and lose your pension if you’re eligible to retire now. Otherwise if you are not, then start sending out resumes, there are lots of employers out there not subject to mandates in desperate need of help.

If you want to stay in government, consider moving to Florida or another red state that does not have covid19 vaccine mandates for state workers.

I knew one federal employee who was eligible for retirement—she got very angry at her boss and retired—on the spot.

She filled out the paperwork later.

No issues.

This is floating around:
https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/fully-vaccinated-pfizer-more-likely-get-delta-than-natural-immunity/

It relies on a pre-print study. I offer no guarantee of its validity and wish to point out that our new invaders might have new strains that render that study obsolete.

I’m a 62-year old male. I got two jabs of Moderna myself in late March and April.

I’ve done a lot of research since and I think Moderna is the best choice for females(probably low risk of blood clots) and older males(probably better protection against hospitalization). Younger males who are healthy might prefer the J&J to avoid the slight chance of substantial muscle damage.

If you are in great need of Covid vaccination for medical reasons, you probably are under a doctor’s care. Ask him for his recommendation.

A political blog is a poor way to get good medical (or legal) advice.

I know one as well recently that did that. Retirement processing for FedGov civil service is pretty much all online now. The guy just filled out his retirement application online, then printed it out, signed/initialed where indicated and scanned it back to the retirement unit. Once they said it was complete and they had his personal email, phone number and home address to contact him as needed to process his retirement, he checked out and left right then.

The big drawback is you’ll have to go several more months without receiving any annuity payments than if you initiate your retirement processing the recommended 60-90 days before your desired retirement date.

Of course it is! They want all conservatives, Christians, and anyone else who opposes their agenda out of the way!

Believe it or not, we were informed that AFRC (Air Force Reserve Command) has over 800 too many civilian employees and they have to reduce that number. Coincidence? I think not, but I don’t know that I can get early retirement since my 30 year point isn’t until Feb 2023. I’ve heard they may offer early retirements, buy outs, etc, so we’ll see what happens. I’m going to file for a religious exemption and see where the cards fall. I know I’ll get harrassed, and I kind of hope they do, cuz if that happens I’ll sue the pants off them. But yes, I’llplay out the string.

You nailed it with “weasel words.”

I’m guessing those words will provide everybody with an exemption…unless somebody like Milley roots out “violent white extremists” in which case they will get the axe.

“no implementing guidance from either DoD or DAF.”

Is guidance from those agencies needed?

Xiden can only give orders to members of the Executive Branch. That includes all military and federal workers. Congressional and Judicial staff would have to receive orders from their respective branches.

Did no one take high school civics? no wonder this country is so f@cked!
