Most Lafayettes I’ve seen pronounce it like the Marquis de Lafayette. Except Lafayette Colorado. Apparently the mayor pronounced it two different ways in the same interview; the interview was about how the town’s name is pronounced!! 🤔

Well, my neighbor’s son turned the corner. He never did get monoclonals. Took antibiotics, steroid and ivermectin. Never ended up with breathing issues nor had to go to the hospital, thankfully. Was up walking around today and planning to go to work tomorrow.

Tell your neighbor’s son, even he is negative, now is the time he had to be extra careful. Ask him to take a baby aspirin (take doctor’s advice) for the next 2-3 weeks. My 6-7 extended family member died after a negative test because of clots and had a heart attack. Next 6 months he should not do excessive weight training and do a lot of walking and drink a lot of water.
The Marquis de Lafayette was a French revolutionary War hero. He returned to France after the war. Both Lafayette California and Lafayette Louisiana were named after him as I suspect other towns were.

My neighbors came home today. I hope they don’t get covid. Lots of risk factors there. She didn’t seem interested in ivermectin or any supplements.
Now my son’s 23 yo girlfriend is sick. She has a sore throat and fever that keeps getting higher, 103 today. 2 days of antibiotics haven’t helped. She had a neck CT today at the ER to rule out abscess. 2 negative covid tests. They gave her a steroid and sent her home saying it was probably viral 🤷♀️
My son was so mad when they wouldn’t let him come in the ER with her. He was ready to storm the doors 😂.
After he took her back to her apartment, he went out and got her some soup, flowers and a bath bomb. So sweet.
