My 20-something son has been working in hospital settings from day one, and around dozens of covid patients, friends and coworkers - in close quarters too, in his vehicle with sick people, etc., and hasn’t gotten as much as a sniffle. He is dead set against the vax.
So when he went in for blood work last week for his routine checkup, he asked for an antibody test, just out of curiosity. The woman who drew his blood fussed at him about taking the vaccine, and his response to her was - my vaccination status is none of your business, your job is just to draw my blood.
Ouch!
He is updating his resume as well, as his employer will be mandating the vaccine soon. He will lose a good paying job, company truck, good benefits but according to him his freedom and his health are more important. Good for him!
He is young—with a great attitude like his, he should do just fine.
The vaccine mania will eventually die down...and it will be the un-vaccinated folks that are gonna inherit the planet (and be able to have kids).
And another and another and another, until your life depends on getting that next shot. Sort of like a drug dependency except you willing turn your existence over to a less than friendly government and healthcare system.
But hey, the vaccines work!
I am encouraged there are still young people who aren’t swayed by the lies. He says most of his friends are of the same mindset.

All things go away, sooner or later, including you and me. And COVID-19, like the Spanish flu, will go away also. Pfizer’s vaccine, while not having the best efficacy against COVID-19 “infection” still is highly efficacious in preventing severe illness and death. There is so much (for many, likely intentional) misunderstanding of this virus and related treatments & vaccines. I recommend you and others follow the daily tracking information. With a near certainty we are rapidly approaching the peak of the Delta wave and the subsequent plunge in COVID-19 infections accompanied by moving into herd immunity.
Remnants of the Spanish Flu exist. It’s just not deadly anymore.
And, there will be another variant, count on it.
Hard to prove what is not studied...even then, it needs to be done correctly.
Anecdotally, our family used it successfully. My mom is 82 and she never even got sick in spite of direct exposure. The rest of us had mild symptoms.
She just recently flew to FL (supposed hotbed of Delta) with me..no issues
Will be curious about the results of the antibody test. Praying for him!

If the effectiveness of the vaxx were ZERO, there would be approximately equal PERCENTAGES of the vaxxed and unvaxxed ill, in hospitals and dying.
That is some scary panic porn.

It’s pure science, HN. It tracks the evolution of the various virus “clades.” You can draw the diagrams many ways and you can also look at maps of how the beast is evolving.
Continue taking it, I have been taking it sine the H1- N1 made its rounds and that’s almost twelve years ago and have not had any problems, not even with the regular flu. My relation caught the Faucy-Chink virus while taking this regime and was over and done with within a week. Remember there are no guaranties in Life, aside from death and taxes.
From what I recall reading by some renowned virologists was that you cannot vaccinate yourself out of a pandemic. Unless the vaccine in question prevents a person from catching the virus as well prevents such a person from passing it along. This is the case with earlier vaccines such as measles, tetanus, small pox, polio etc. just to mention few.
If such a vaccine does not meet such criteria, in the long run all it does promote the proliferation of more mutations with some of them either less or others more dangerous than the original virus they were designed for. Needless to say he creation of a monster is more likely than not. It all plays into the hands of ignorant, power hungry control freaks and what we have seen so far pretty well proves the point.
