You misunderstood my point. Yes, I believe we are responsible for assisting Taiwan in defending itself from China, but I doubt we will do so with the administration and DOD we have now. If China hasn’t already bought and paid for them, Biden and Gen. Milley are both too weak and incompetent, if not plain frightened to go to war. So, if I am correct, China has a green light and will not hesitate to sacrifice a million people to take Taiwan back.

Seriously, the Adults in the Trump Admin looked at force readiness needs to confront China and at the $40-$50 billion we were pounding down the Afghanistan rat hole every year and made the right decision.
