We’re not walking out...
we’re sick;
on vacation;
on appt;
visiting friends, family, etc.;
picking someone up from airport, wherever;
car broke down;
self-quarantined;
waiting in line at vehicle registration;
I’m sure we can come up with other creative ways to communicate our collective absence.
