In post 199 the daughter said her Mom tried to get the therapy, so your [oint falls flat. We don’t know what therapy—maybe I need to read the whole thread—but it doesn’t sound like “self treating” to me.
Maybe they’d be OK, like thousands of others who were actually treated BEFORE they had to be hospitalized.

They are not experimental shots. They went through the same rigorous testing that all other vaccines go through and continued to be carefully monitored. It’s people like you posting highly misleading information (such as saying they are experimental shots) that is helping more people getting sick and unfortunately more death.

I skimmed through the thread, but unclear (to me anyway) if he was attempting to get (Ivermectin) and failed to acquire, or did get it and it failed to stop the disease progression.
In any event, it is sad and prayers. Doesn’t change basic stats and probabilities. Just as it is sad and sucks for the person eaten by the shark even when most people swimming at the beach have no problem. All about where your risk tolerance levels stand.

And, we don’t know how easily available ANY early treatment there was for this dear FReeper/loved ones, or for ANY citizen who comes down with china virus.
People should be able to have these known, safe and effective EARLY treatment PROTOCOLS, on hand, EASILY, and NOT have to scramble for them/dosage, etc., once they fall ill.

They have NOT completed the phase 3 trials. At this point they are rushing the 3rd phase. Also, children, elderly, and those with pre existing conditions were not part of the clinical trials. Those are now guinea pigs.

They were unable to get monoclonal treatments or others and were exclusively offered oxygen if hospitalized. It's bizarre that the CDC has ruled that disease not be treated and patients have to fend for themselves. Prayers up!

Your favorite epithets for us do not help the patient and distort the issue. We could require hospitalization for any number of treatable illnesses if we had to scurry around and figure out our own treatments or how to get past artificial barriers to treatments for politicized illnesses.
