Now I’ll have to go through the Constitution online & find the specific Article(s) and/or Amendments. They’re on the edge of my mind, and it drives me nuts to not be able to recall them clearly. Getting old, I guess.

One in particular is breathtakingly full of negativity and cynicism. It’s tempting to suggest calling a suicide hotline.
I apologize for laughing, but I rarely answer the phone or the door unless I know who’s calling on me. They can knock until their knuckles bleed and I just won’t answer. I don’t even have a curiosity about who it might be, and if it’s the phone, I turn the ringer off if it becomes bothersome.
So it’s certainly unethical, and may be unconstitutional, but it will definitely be unproductive here. If NOBODY answered, they’d have to stop the program, unless it’s simply an employment program.

A 58-year-old Asian woman and her son were dragged down the stairs of a New York City subway station Saturday morning.
The mother underwent brain surgery after hitting her head as she fell down the stairs.
According to law enforcement, the mother and her son were walking up the steps at Canal Street station in lower Manhattan Saturday morning around 9:40 when a man grabbed the son’s backpack.
The son grabbed onto his mother as he got dragged and they both tumbled down the steps.
NYPD released video of the suspect and asked the public for help identifying him. moar..

Been busy with all sorts of real-life stuff, most of it mundane and boring. But the other day, we reconnected with old friends, a couple I hadn’t seen in many years, though my husband has been in very sporadic touch via email with the guy over that time. It was one of those brief get-togethers where it seemed eerily like no time at all had passed, even though we were all older. They are conservatives and Christians, and they are of like mind with us on shunning the jabs! We hope to stay much better in touch with them, and are planning a supper soon.

I spoke to a funeral director recently. He expects another lockdown. He was part of a group that went to NYC to take care of the deceased during the pandemic. Those videos of boxes of people buried on the island off NYC early pandemic were unclaimed corpses from the city morgue(s) many predating the ‘rona. I think he said they filled 6 trailers full with 80 bodies per trailer. The space they made was not needed.
