On the existing part of the collapsed building I’d say no, it’s not worth risking lives to save stuff.

With the sister building if I lived there I’d be moving out right now before the place gets condemned...which I expect will happen soon unless it gets a stellar inspection report.

They have zero value and owners will have to take their losses.

If they can figure out a way to transfer the losses to the lenders, the loss probably will be passed along to the taxpayers via rented legislators.
