Kentucky’s favorite vegetable is corn, because they turn it into moonshine.
My least favorite vegetable is yucas, a root vegetable found in many Caribbean and South American dishes. Although they are bitter, I eat them when they're on my plate because they are full of nutrients.
That sounds insanely delicious. Was the spinach between the layers as well as in the noodles?
I first had that in Bologna, Italy, in 1961 and remember how tasty it was.
About a decade later, I lived in Saarbrücken, Germany, where I was an exchange student, and within a week, I had eaten at every Italian restaurant in town.
broccoli rabe, rapini is fine sautéed in olive oil with garlic and red pepper flakes
Who is the gentleman sitting next to Roger Moore? Albert Broccoli...He is responsible for many James Bond films...
By the way, they both passed away...
"Albert Romolo Broccoli was born in Astoria, Queens (New York City) on April 5th, 1909. His mother and father, Cristina and Giovanni Broccoli, raised young Albert in New York on the family farm. The family was in the vegetable business, and Albert claimed one of his uncles brought the first broccoli seeds into the United States in the 1870's."
Just about everyone who eats fresh vegetables regularly likes just about every vegetable.
But I’d sure put okra at the bottom of the list.
And I would put frozen in the fresh category.
Even some properly home canned make the grade...home canned tomatoes and greenbeans have 80% of their nutrition after a year. Careful not to over process.
But from what I have seen there is a large bunch of people who don’t like vegetables for anything but a colorful dressing...like a tomato on a Whopper or peppers on their pizza.
This is a song about vegetables
They keep you regular, they’re real good for ya
Call any vegetable
Call it by name
You gotta call one today
When you get off the train
Call any vegetable
And the chances are good
the vegetable will respond to you
(La-la-ah la-la) the vegetable will respond to you
(La-la-ah la-la)
No one will know
If you don’t want to let ‘em know
No one will know
‘Less it’s you that might tell ‘em so
Call and they’ll come to you
Smiling and covered with dew
Vegetables dream, vegetables dream
Vegetables dream of responding to you
Standing there shiny and proud by your side
Holding your joint while the neighbors decide
Why is a vegetable something to hide?
To hide
To hide
To hide, yeah
You know, a lot of people don’t bother
About their friends in the vegetable kingdom
They think, “What can I say?
What can a person like myself say unto a vegetable?”
And right they are
But the answer is simple, my friends (what is it?)
Just call, and tell ‘em how you feel
About muffins
Pumpkins
Wax paper
Caledonias, mahagonies and elbows
And green things in general
And soon, a new rapport
You and all your new little green and yellow buddies grooving together
Maintaining your coolness together
Worshipping together in the church of your choice, only in America
God bless America
Land that-
Call any vegetable
Call it by name
Call one today
When you get off the train
Call any vegetable
And the chances are good
That the vegetable will respond to you
What a pumpkin
Thank you

I was kinda bummed that no one had green beans as their favorite.
whadda ya gonna do with the cream corn Frankie?
Those toms look like the Mortgage Lifter variety.
I grew them for a couple of years and I think the smallest one I ever picked came in at 13oz. But as big as 22oz.
Only the noodles were made of spinach and were a light green.
Poor George Bush
I’ll stick to human absorbable nutrition: meat!
1066 days of only consuming meat & drinking water with zero downside!
Roasted with oil (grapeseed or olive) garlic, salt and pepper.
Thanks for that interlude
If there was ever a demonic vegetable that is it.
Steak is my favorite veggie
“like a tomato on a Whopper”
Like a tomato and onions on an Impossible Burger (me).
