Yeah after posting I realized there are some spots that are critical, like bridges into Manhattan for example. Not sure about I94 only been to MN a few times and they were short business trips. Mainly was talking about assembling outside city hall to protest etc. But you are right. Some highways are critical. Otherwise, I have no problem with peaceful good faith protests against policy even if I disagree that is their God given right.

Sounds like a plan. I live closer to Hawaii so never really saw any need to go to the Caribbean. The wife used to go with her family decades ago. She said she prefers Hawaii but a trip to Aruba is on our mutual bucket list. I sure hope Congress will pass a law to give us all these last 2 years back. :-)
California is so dysfunctional. I was wondering doesn’t Oregon have tons of surplus water? Why can’t we pipe some of it in? Sure we’ll pay for it of course. Every time they want to build a desal plant in CA there are scores of interest groups that get involved. The few we have are in mostly “red counties”. We can’t clear dead brush, we can’t put out fires, and we have to ration our water and electricity. We spend $225 billion a year just at the state level (heaven knows when you add all the counties and cities) and can’t solve even some of our most basic needs. Seems the most important thing to our politicians is making sure they get paid. But again I digress... sorry if I derailed the thread.

Once the people are under the yoke of das kommunistische System, tear gas will be an outdated method. It will be Maschinengewehre (machine guns).
I used German language to illustrate how America is being driven to a totalitarian state much as the Germans by Hitler’s Naziism. The Left has caught on to the tactic of exploiting the pandemic to push their agenda. I have news for them. America has caught on to them and is fed up with them.
