It won’t be long before a surge in elderly deaths around the world is blamed on a new variant of SARS-CoV-2, with medical authorities calling for new vaccines, more doses, and mRNA updates. Isn’t it suspicious that a deadly covid-variant became headline news suddenly after the vaccine rollout?”

Any other areas of the world seeing this same pattern?
Where are the statistics from the US, Canada, Britain, etc?
ThankQ, Ymani Cricket !

On this International Transgender Day of Visibility, the U.S. Department of Justice recognizes the many contributions of the transgender community, and the discrimination that many transgender individuals continue to face today. All Americans, including transgender individuals, should live and work free from fear of losing a job, being denied housing or medical care, or being harassed or assaulted because of who they are.
This mission guides our work in the Civil Rights Division. The Division has a dedicated working group of attorneys and staff exploring how federal law can protect transgender individuals (as well as other members of the LGBTI community). From vigorously investigating and prosecuting federal hate crimes to enforcing federal antidiscrimination laws, we are committed to upholding the civil and constitutional rights of transgender individuals.
To our fellow citizens in the transgender community, our commitment to the nation and to you is this: we will work to enforce federal laws without fear or favor and make sure that you, like all Americans, are treated equally under the law.
Checking in when I can. Love my new job. My bosses are conservatives! Yay! I have been worn out in the evenings but in the “had a good hard working day” way. DH is going to have to get use to lighter evening meals though. And it is harder to keep up on the news.
Yes, I’m still around. ThankQ for the new thread that I will check out when I can.
In! Hard to believe you keep a day job and run this thread, AND contribute so much info...

And just like that....Ransomnote made a new thread. THANK YOU!!!!
In, FWIW. :-)
Anyone else noticing an increased number of tests of the EAS lately? Here in OK, they’re usually monthly. They went to weekly around mid-November. Last 2 or 3 weeks, they’ve increased to 2-3 times per week. Yesterday, the test ran twice. Have never seen 2 tests in 1 day before.
Increased number of non-commercial aircraft (including what looks like Chinooks) overhead also. Not something I’d consider normal in this locality.
