I would consider, having Chris Plante because his conservative talk radio is considered “edgy”.
HUBBA HUBBA dittoes!
Wow...seeing your post about Jamie just shocked me. I mean I never expected to see Jamie’s name on FR; you’re right, Jamie is high energy and would be great. Sadly, outside of St. Louis, I don’t think many know him. I don’t know how he would get a shot at it.
Whoever is in charge is doing something Rush never did: taking the audience for granted.
I would Mark Steyn also.
Great point.
I sooo agree!
Thanks. I only listen to hear if they announce any long term plans. Then switch off. I really did like Rush’s ‘take’ on things.
Otherwise I’m pretty well informed
Don’t know Jamie but Brian is first on my list. Watch him on FNF and listen to his radio show. Just an interesting guy and a good sense of humor. IMO
I was elated when Hannity was taken off of the local station here. They were wasting 3 hours of prime air time having Hannity tell us how humble he is, rudely interrupting callers, and interviewing RINO Rove.
Don’t forget the great specificity he reminds you about.
When Rush died syndicator Premiere said they would do at least 90 days of classic Rush/fill ins before moving on to a new host.
Leaving the Rush show today are WGAN Portland ME and WKBK Keene NH in favor of the Boston based Grace Curley Show.
PBRTV.com (Pittsburgh Radio & TV) says
Pitt. affiliate WJAS is expected to replace the show with Rose Somma Tennant,
ex Quinn and Rose show
I love Chris Plante, but....he repeats the same ole stuff like Hannity. It’s gets old.
I don’t know another radio host with enough energy to do it, and stick around.
He is a great friend of Trump but varies from the book Conservative. So do millions of Trump voters, and Trump himself.
Conservative is mislabeling, which leads to bad marketing. We’re populists, within the framework of the Constitution.
Constitutional Populists?
I kind of like the idea of a Best of Rush on Fridays, but that’s it.
Plus, people can subscribe to Rush 24x7. Hopefully, that will keep running for a long time and expand the archive. At lot of what Rush talked about applies today.
A bit off topic but it would be great if EIB could do a CD compilation of all the parodies. All my Christmas shopping done!

I almost felt sorry for Hannity, esp. when Rush was saying, “After I have spoken on a topic, there’s nothing else to say” - he came on right after Rush with his “analysis” of the same stuff, which was shallow, self-serving, strident and repetitive.
Sadly, the best two fill ins for Rush preceded him in death: Walter Williams and Tony Snow.
