On its face Twitter is suing Texas AG Ken Paxton for targeting them with inquiries into their practice of censorship and deplatforming.

The lawsuit baseline is essentially (and ironically) because Paxton is a government official, Twitter is claiming their ‘first amendment’ right to control speech on their private platform is under attack.

Don’t feel alone - I’m with you on this, lj. I watched it over and over, and now a few times more, to see what I was missing. I can’t spot anything insincere in either Miller or Pence in that clip. Granted, it’s hard to read masked facial expressions, but even freeze framing and copying images to zoom on Pence’s eyes didn’t read “anger” to me. Perhaps someone will explain how that impression was reached.

I don’t know about the H-3s. That seemed really weird to me & I cannot explain it.

As far as anything at the Pentagon, there is not a detention facility. Plus, and this is just personal opinion, anyone up for a tribunal has already gone thru the preliminaries at least - so no need for a “Pentagon” tribunal. Those would be held some other location. The Pentagon certainly isn’t equipped for that. It’s bureaucratic, not judicial. Gitmo is judicial.

But bear this in mind, as they circle the Washington Monument there are three course to take. One goes south toward the Pentagon, one goes east toward the Capitol, and one west toward Georgetown. The poster asked where could they be headed. I opined the Pentagon, and I’m probably correct. No need to bypass Pennsylvania Ave to go to the Capitol, nor Constitution to go toward Georgetown.

The whole episode remains weird to me. The real POTUS does not need to come to DC itself to maintain control. That can be accomplished from really anywhere.

Even without the clip I saw though, it's bizarre; Miller was never mentored by Pence, was never in any situation wherein he COULD be mentored by Pence. Pence has no military background, betrayed POTUS, FLYN and the USA and Wictor says Miller put him in charge of Spec Ops????

Sen. Rand Paul advised people to “live free” and “trash your mask” after receiving the coronavirus vaccine in response to more cautious guidance by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“Rather than listening to government scolds, look to the science of immunology: and once you’re 2 weeks out from the vaccine, or have recovered from the actual infection, trash your mask and live free again,” Paul said on Twitter.

Paul was responding to a CNN article detailing updated CDC guidance, which now advises that people who have been fully vaccinated can gather with other fully vaccinated individuals but continued to urge caution, including the use of masks in public.

“COVID-19 continues to exert a tremendous toll on our nation. Like you, I want to be able to return to everyday activities and engage with our friends, families, and communities,” CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said of the updated guidance. “Science and the protection of public health must guide us as we begin to resume these activities. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday that President Biden’s name will not appear on stimulus checks that will be sent to many Americans after the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill is passed.

The decision represents a break with the previous administration, as former President Trump's name appeared on stimulus checks sent by the Internal Revenue Service to millions of Americans.

“We are doing everything in our power to expedite the payments and not delay them, which is why the president’s name will not appear on the memo line of this round of [stimulus] checks,” Psaki told reporters at an afternoon briefing. “The checks will be signed by a career official at the Bureau of Fiscal Service. This is not about [Biden]. This is about the American people getting relief.”
