Glad you like them, Chode...I like writing them. I do it as a bulwark against the time I won’t remember them (if I live that long) and simply because I enjoy writing them...:)

My father loved Sicily in particular and Italy in general.
I think covid killed any chance of that. Couldn’t do anything and the Italian base didn’t give a flip about feeding the American, just keeping them locked down..

My oldest is out of the CG now and will graduate from college (math) in December, if all goes as planned. The one in the Marines doesn’t pay much attention to the big picture: day to day events, especially all the nuisance of Covid, is enough to go on with. She’s had her vaccines.
