If President Biden’s intent was to show he’s taking the crisis at our border seriously, he’s actually done the complete opposite by selecting V.P. Harris to lead on this issue. He’s completely trivialized this issue by putting someone in charge that flat out, just doesn’t care.

I had a long-haired cat that hated being brushed. I took her to a groomer and had them keep her all day (dropped her off before work and picked her up after).
When I went to pick her up, they said ‘oh, they’re finishing up with her now’. I was waiting for them to bring her out and heard some horrible dog growling in the back.
They brought her out to me and I said something about the dog growling in the back. They said ‘we don’t have a dog back there; she was the last groom. That growling was HER’.

And the bad thing is, I don’t think we’ve got anyone in DC that will be able to stop it. Even if they fight, I doubt there’s votes enough to stop anything. Of course, executive orders don’t require a vote.
Tried to talk to my friend about it tonight, the one that prides himself on political topics. Last night he had sent me a text about Matt Gaetz’s politics and how ‘he would probably do well in his part of Washington state because they do love their dingbats there’. I asked him to explain but he was in the middle of something. So today I said Gaetz has to be better than the crapload Biden is planning. His response?
“As I told myself during the weirdest/darkest days of the Trump administration...they only get 4-8 years and then are mostly forgotten. Or at least mythologized so much their real accomplishments or failures are mostly forgotten.”
How are we going to ever reverse this election even with an honest voting system with this kind of attitude of a supposedly ‘informed’ voter???
