Remember Michael Jackson and his fake nose? I don’t recall hearing or seeing instances of “facial melt.” I think he had the money to pay for really good prosthetics. Also, he didn’t wear some sweaty mask.

Yes i know whereever the President is is considered AirForce 1 even if it doesnt squawk as AF1, i get all that, but he is not on a truly genuine painted AF1 and you woukd think he would be just for sight sake and perception. Digression there but you get what i mean

Id have to dig it up, but i think on the last thread there is a post of joe getting on “Airforce 1” and the Presidential Seal is sticking out and not painted on like on the real AirForce 1s.

Whoever is directing this "movie" has insisted on and enforced the directive that the stagecraft and set design be of such a quality that the viewer's suspension of disbelief can't quite be achieved.
Hollywood prides itself on the ability, for the space of a couple of hours, to take the viewer outside of himself and into another world entirely. This isn't happening here. This is the "uncanny valley" of political craft. It's almost lifelike but not quite. It's creepy.

This reminds me of the old campy 1960s "Batman" TV show, with Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin. There was this one episode when Batman was imprisoned or detained by the bad guys, and the police and press went to interview Batman who, of course, was unavailable. So Alfred the butler went out dressed up as Batman, not very convincing looking as he didn't have the muscles, or the voice. He stood far out of reach of the press and covered his face (mustache) and said his voice sounded different because he had a cold. The police and press bought it, sort of, but looked worried.
