I quite agree.
When I lived in New York, for 2 years as a kid, there was a Cohen family up the road that had 3 lawsuits going on during the years I was there. Even as a dumb hick up in yankee land, I thought that seemed like just plain greed to sue over random stuff. I said something to another kid and boom, you would think that I was part of some anti-Semitic crazed group. That was a tough lesson about keeping ones mouth shut. It also taught me about ethnic group identity, tribalism, ... Where I was from down south we had blacks, whites, poor, not poor. Mostly poor, not poor was the divide I grew up in.
