In the recall announcement, Oakshire Brewing explained that the beer being voluntarily recalled, the brand's 16-oz. cans of Theme From the Bottom: of refermentation" that could cause them Mango Raspberry Cheesecake Smoothie Sour Ale, had "visible signs to rupture. The affected beer was sold through Oakshire Brewing's taproom between Jan. 16 and 18, and additional cans were sold online.

Um, if the cans haven't blown up yet, leaving them in your fridge will put any live yeast into hibernation and prevent the beers from blowing up. Just be careful opening them so you don't spray the whole room. This is probably one of the stupidest recalls I've seen in a long time.

When I brewed beer in college. Many times bottles would go BOOM 💥! In the middle of the night

I started placing them outside. But my buddies sound steal them

My favorite was “ kill your grandma stout “. So strong it would kill 3 generations back ( est 15-16 %. Abv)

Dunno if you're still brewing, but just throwing em in your fridge will slow the carbonation enough that it really doesn't happen. Neat trick I've picked up is if you're really that particular about getting enough carbonation, make one of your bottles a plastic bottle, and once that's pretty hard will tell you when your whole batch is decently carbonated. Without having to open one at a time to check the pressure.

He yea, while I am really into good beer and like many of the weird ones, “mango cheesecake sour something something” isn’t one I would try unless the only other options were Bud Light and Miller Light!
