SAN ANGELO — San Angelo has broken multiple weather records the last two days with heavy snowfall and low temperatures.
On Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021, San Angelo received 10.1 inches of snow, which was a record snowfall for the day, according to the National Weather Service.

San Angelo became a winter wonderland on Jan. 16, 1919, with 10 inches of snow, which held the record for the snowiest day in the city’s history for 102 years.
Feb. 14 also broke the record low temperature at 8 degrees and also the record cold high temperature at 22 degrees.
Looks like official is 10.1 inches. That gives us bragging rights, as if Texans need a reason to brag.
