I think that’s exactly what’s going on.
👍👍
Yes, but as I mentioned, they surely wouldn't rely on the honesty policy of self reporting. You would have to either go to the DMV, which in CA is woefully ill equipped to do anything. Most people renew online, so everybody showing up to report their mileage would be a disaster.
Or they will have the same independent places like the smog stations to officially report the numbers but even then we only go every 2 years to get a smog check. Maybe insurance agencies? They currently do not have the capabilities.
To pay an annual gas tax of maybe $300 on top of DMV renewal of another $300 for each of your vehicles is a pretty big hit to take.
Another great and very appropriate Psalm. Thanks.
One of the Navy’s largest medical ships, either the Comfort or Mercy, was harbored in NY for hospital overflow, AND there were at least 3 military field hospitals set up in city parks and the Javits Center that went unused.
Cuomo killed those elderly patients by neglect and should be charged with individual counts of manslaughter.
The coverup should make the manslaughter charges more severe in the punishment and sentencing phases.
Bingo. TY.
I would have no faith in the DMV to get anything right.
You’re welcome. Interesting to turn the camera shot into a full screen view as the workers can (then) be seen performing their duties.
Thanks.
For some reason the webcam won’t load, for me.
Will try on my laptop, later.
I’ve been wondering (since I saw this, yesterday) what their meeting could be about.
Oh, to be that fly on Pence’s hair, for this meeting!
I’ll be (one of many!!) first in line to support her, if she does make a run.
Wow! Lots of “real awake” folks out there, Jenny.
Thanks for the link NIKK.
Not sure why you’re having troubles? It might be the kind of browser that you are using?
I just went there and started the camera then expanded the view and saw that the workers have just about completed the removal of the roof’s wood framing. Kind of cool to see things live in DC, at such a prominent location, and with such clarity.
Exactly. I think that’s why our state never pursued it any further; just the logistics of getting it done.
I guess you could upload a photo of the odometer, but then what proof is there that it’s actually the vehicle in question? It could be your 90-year-old grandmother’s car who only drives to church twice a week.
Hmmm....I’m seeing a business opportunity with that if you have a low-mileage vehicle....
I believe some countries already do the tax, but I haven’t found a list if they do. Might be countries where the population are more amenable to GPS tracking.
I don’t believe that Cuomo killed the elderly by neglect but that he did it on purpose and then he put the blame on our President Trump.
Pure evil!!!!
The GOP didn't appreciate what they had in POTUS.
BOTTOM LINE: NO $$$$ ROLLING IN FOR GOP.
Impeachment Fizzle Shows Why Democrats’ 4D Chess Doesn’t Work
FTA:The Democrats’ second impeachment attempt against former President Donald Trump is losing steam.
While many on the left gladly embraced the charge to impeach Trump for a second time just one week before he left office, some of the Democrats are less than thrilled that an unlikely impeachment is taking up time on their legislative calendars.
Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney was one of the Republicans who adopted the corporate media and Democrats’ narrative about Trump, saying Trump “summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack,” an allegation that was met with calls for her removal by her GOP colleagues. Even then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell explored whipping together a group of GOP votes to pass impeachment.
Sen. Rand Paul also denounced Democrats’ hypocritical impeachment attempt against former President Donal Trump, saying it was peddled by “angry, unhinged partisans who are … deranged by their hatred of the former president.” On Tuesday, Paul quickly assembled a motion to declare the Senate’s impeachment trial unconstitutional, which every GOP senator affirmed except for Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Ben Sasse, Pat Toomey, and Susan Collins.
All of a sudden, Democrats were faced with the reality that they were nowhere near getting 17 Republicans to swing in favor of impeaching their former leader. The trial will continue, but the Democrats’ plan to “send a message” and fully impeach Trump ultimately failed once again.

I couldn’t get it to load, so thanks for the description.
