I have known of this platform pretty much from the start.
Decentralization is the core of local, regional and global comms.
They have got the tor system maybe working ok though if you don’t run windows but some armf product it still has issues that need ironing out.
Small boards like pi3 slow, and pi4 faster are the perfect solution though I have not gone through many OS systems to see which OS is better to use with it.
Is summary the software is open source and is available to be downloaded and rebuilt as you like at code level. Makes checking and tweaking the program do much easier.
It is tls encrypted but ssh is being worked on
There is no Central cloud storage node... Everyone is part of the program, cell and tablet care limited in data storage but for chat only it’s great.
PC and Pi can spin up and become shared data hubs for all,
