Secession won’t work unless all leftists are banned from setting foot in the new free world.

Secession works because leftist states will collapse by their leftist policies and will be forced to abandon them.

Why would Texas, the wealthiest Red State, want to join with Arkansas, and Mississippi?

to have more people to sell their products without paying tariffs. To have more freedom of movement.

Except the Left would still hate the rest of us because we merely exist. They thrive on envy and hate. They would continue to blame us for all their ills and promote the idea that their lives can only be improved by destroying us.

Who cares, they will starve when they implement their leftist policies.

Then what? How do you keep the leftists from moving in anyway?

That’s what independent countries do! They don’t give visitors voting rights.

I would be satisfied if Republicans simply wanted to succeed and acted accordingly.

Texas has the oil, refineries and pipelines to the east coast. Before they decide to secede, better think about the currency and how to convert to a new currency. Also, SS Will be an issue for seniors and disabled. If they secede, those benis will be cut off.

Are you willing to live in a country that is no longer functioning as America, but has become a country where Americans are just working to support liberals, with no say about how they wish to live?

No to secession. Yes to ignoring the law.

Basically we need to operate independently inside our own borders without leaving. Ignore and refuse to extradite/enforce any corrupt laws passed by courts, federal agencies, or Congress.

Become a sanctuary for those escaping repression in liberal States exactly the same way slaves escaped to Free Soil pre-civil war. Tell them their law doesn’t apply here.

Not at all; I'm not sure what gave you that impression. (Look at all of my posts on this thread.)

I'm only pointing out that any discussion of secession is pointless; it would never be attempted, nor would it ever be allowed.

On top of that, we no longer have sufficient quantity of the stock of men who put this whole thing together some 250 years ago.

Ben Franklin was clear: "A republic, if you can keep it."

There were never any promises made as to where this was all going to end up; from every appearance at this time, we failed to "keep it".

Thanks for the history lesson on the aftermath of the Civil War; I really had no idea about this.

The path to freedom, if we must, is first thru the establishment of a new ship of state - by way of forming a new, the Third Continental Congress.

- - -

At all times, even in revolution, the construction of our forefathers’ efforts was to ensure lawful process and exercise authority under the rule of law. For example, contrary to the hysteria perpetrated in the “liberal press,” about the militia, the colonial militia were at all times answerable to civilian authority, in a chain of command reaching down from the Continental Congress and down from the Provincial Congresses of the colonies, often times through what were called Committees of Safety.

There is much in our American Heritage, in which we must seek to know and understand the construction of our country and Constitution, so that where we are going, we will ensure that we do so by a lawful process, and always keep upon the path toward our principle objectives: to restore our Constitution and rule of law over government ... instead of embarking upon a sea of rage because of our current unhappiness.

It will take all of our self-discipline, to not wander from the path. The secret of George Washington’s success, according to him, when asked by a correspondent, after the President’s retirement from public office, was this: “...the straight line.”

Sir Winston Churchill, upon the occasion of a visit to an American university after World War II, and feeling the infirmities of his age, was asked to give a speech; but he had to wait out a lengthy introduction.

At the end of this praise, Churchill stood up and approached the podium; and then said, no more than, “Never, never, never, never quit.”

You must not let go of our democratic-republic [principles]. You must not be “rattled.”

The Founding Fathers and Framers set up a structure for a government in waiting, the Continental Congress. During that decade prior to Lexington and Concord, the colonialists absorbed the principles of law, some of which were discussed in the “letters of correspondence.” There is much that the people knew -— enough people -— which is what will be needed if we are to win.

- - -

Edmund Burke said, in his March 22, 1775 “Speech on Conciliation With America”:

Permit me, Sir, to add another circumstance in our colonies, which contributes no mean part towards the growth and effect of this untractable spirit. I mean their education. In no country perhaps in the world is the law so general a study...

This study renders men acute, inquisitive, dexterous, prompt in attack, ready in defence, full of resources. In other countries, the people, more simple and of a less mercurial cast, judge of an ill principle in government only by an actual grievance; here they anticipate the evil, and judge of the pressure of the grievance by the badness of the principle. They augur misgovernment at a distance; and snuff the approach of tyranny in every tainted breeze.

- - -

The Third Continental Congress

To consist of 2 representatives from each state.

Those 2 (per state) are chosen by the RED CONSERVATIVE COUNTIES of their respective states.

The RED Conservative counties of each state, to have themselves chosen 2 representative - who convene with the other sets of 2 representives at the state level.

*That* state level convention for the purpose of choosing the 2 representives, who then proceed to the meeting of the Third Continental Congress.

Hi.

IMHO secession is not a good move. Didn’t work last time.

Then again, this isn’t 1861.

The bottom line is the victors write the history and define the terms of the settlement. It seems we are seeing the beginning of those terms now with “banning” and “lists of Trump supporters.” That’s life.

Another reality that is lost on the vichy republicans. For all their talk of a "peaceful transfer of power" from the left, this sort of behavior is not what you inflict on an opposing party after an election. It is what you do after a war.

Mainstream republicans are in total denial; They have purposely avoided every opportunity to stop this, even to the point of collaborating with it in order to convince themselves it is no big deal.

They fail to grasp that they will translate from being useful allies, to an annoying but necessary evil, eventually becoming the final enemy to vanquish.

The U.S. pays SS by printing money. New countries can do the same.

Since Leftists believe that the Constitution was written in so distant a past that things like health care, universal basic income and tech concerns require it to be revamped, they should be reminded that it was also written well before Marx. There should be an amendment to ban Marxism and all of its children from being enacted legally in the US. At least USA2 should consider that.
