The politicians and media have done EVERYTHING they can all year to make us angry and pissed off.
We are a powder keg. All they needed was a few of theirs to be the fuse. Remember, they are PROFESSIONAL agitators (0bama, right?)
I’ve heard several people who were there say busses rolled up just before the trouble started.
With that many people there, you’re sure to find enough oddballs who’ll fall for “storming the castle!”
What they thought they’d do once they DID storm the castle, I’ll never know... but like I said, in every group you’re gonna have the oddballs who can give the whole group a bad name. All they needed was a little push.
And our politicians sent in professionals to do just that.

Those sound exactly like the claims used by the left to justify the ANTIFA, ie, “mostly peaceful protesters” and “right wing instigators blending in with the ‘peaceful protesters”. FWIW, the claims of ANTIFA embedes have only slim support, ie, claims that two ANTIFA were detected using face matching software. Even if that is true, you cannot blame all the chaos on only two ‘mostly peaceful protesters.’
BTW, access to the Capitol is closely controlled at all times. One does not just walk in to observe their ‘employees’ at work. One does not have full access to all the Capitol either.

Actually, a retired DC cop was just on “America’s Voice”, and he said that after rallies, people DO go to the Capitol and walk around. It happens ALL THE TIME. It’s part of their rally experience.
The problem this time is that the police know that Trump supporters always are respectful, and never are violent, so they did not anticipate any trouble. They weren’t prepared for Antifa to start violence.

Did he say anything about putting your feet up on the Speaker’s Desk? Have you seen the pictures of the mob storming the Capitol? Have you seen the pictures of the mob climbing the walls or swinging from the balconies? Seriously, I’ve been to the capital and those activities are not typically allowed. Quit making excuses, that was a mob scene that should be condemned by all regardless of one’s political viewpoint.

And, of COURSE, he didn’t address the issues with feet on desks. MY reply to you specifically was your statement:

The last time I visited the Capital, we were escorted everywhere. Our activities were strictly controlled. For example, when we entered the House Chamber to “observe our employees at work”, our group was shown to a specific set of seats, we were only allowed to remain in the chamber to “observe our employees at work” for a five minutes only, and then we were escorted out so another group could ‘observe our employees at work”. That hardly describes an experience where one can observe one’s employees.
BTW, the ‘feet on desks’ was an important point to make. Those ‘peaceful demonstrators’ acted like a mob and should not be defended.
They won’t prosecute Antifa instigators.

Liberals instigated violence at Trump’s rallies in 2015 and 2016 to make conservatives look bad.
The same thing is happening here. And it was done to justify systematic oppression of conservatives by Biden-Harris AND scare Republicans into rolling over on the Electoral College vote that was going on.
