“Do you even know who Buchanan is? He’s the grandfather of Trumpism.”

He obviously knows the name but nothing else. It would be hard to make a more brainless, uninformed critique of Buchanan than what this buffoon has been doing.

Buchanan campaigned in 1992 on protecting American manufacturing jobs, on halting illegal immigration, on keeping America out of bad trade deals, on avoiding unnecessary wars. He had spent years battling the mainstream press alongside Reed Irvine. It was populist and nationalist, and the global oriented GOP establishment hated him for it.

Does this sound familiar? Well it should, because Trump picked up that same ball and ran with it. Every sentient reader who was familiar with Buchanan’s old platform recognized what Trump had done. Pat’s platform was pure Sam Francis “Middle American Radicals” and Trump draws from that very same well.

The Never-Trump faction might as well switch their party affiliation to Democrat because they are swamp rats. We are far better off without them. There were some areas where I disagreed with president Trump, but I remain convinced he was the real deal and really wanted to make America great again. He wanted to serve us.

I agree with all that. You pretty much covered it.

The death of the GOP is baked into the political cake at this point. The GOP stands for nothing in 1 AD ( After Donald).

The solvent red states will secede from the spiritually and financially bankrupt blue states.

My brother a retired wing tip starched collar fortune 500 executive, so conservative and establishment we made fun of him growing up, is saying the same thing. If guys like him are saying that, wow.

There are 50 million voters that stay home very election Why? A lot of them are plan old pay check workers and neither party puts the American worker ahead of the globalist agenda. A new party will fill that void.

MAGA? It’s a good moniker but I think the name America First Party (AFP) sounds better and more accurate.

I'd rather just keep control of the party, and let the RINOs leave.

Not going to happen the corrupt political fascists that run the GOP are never going to leave.

If the RINOs choose not to leave the GOP, then they’ll just have get used to no RINO presidential nominees. They’ve lost control, and they’re not getting it back because there aren’t enough of them.

Why are you having such a problem with standing up for one of the points you made?

“Anyone who hints that Trump might not win this war is not on Trump’s side.”

Because it goes against your chosen name?

They’ve lost control,

There is absolutely no sign "they" have lost control with Goober and Turtle are the best examples.

You wouldn’t look so weak if you could participate in the substance of the discussion.

If Buchanan represents the best of Trump, then why does he take the side of those trying to say Trump lost the election?

And try to keep your posts more concise. When you can says something with fewer words it comes across a lot better.

As I commented to the other poster, try to stick to the substance of the discussion.

If you find something you disagree with, present your argument and tie it directly to the substance of our commentary.

Otherwise it looks like you’ve given up.

Buchanan tells us Trump lost, so Buchanan is a neverTrumper.

Resorting to personal attacks demonstrates surrender.

You’ve hardly engaged in the discussion.

Why would you give up so soon?

Pay attention to my comments, then reference them as you reply with related points. That’s how it’s done.

Buchanan tells us Trump lost, so Buchanan is a neverTrumper.
