You ever heard those, uh, left wing crazy people talk about how there's a Jewish conspiracy? And how, uh, the Jews run the media, and they have all the money, and they pretty much dominate the world? No? Well, I've heard of it, and, uh... You know, well, that would pretty much leave one day of the year, when no one else is around, to have a whole year of planning of world domination. That's Christmas. Merry Christmas, buddies
We're going to a movie, eating Chinese food (Wouldn't you like to know what we do What we do, what we do on Christmas?)
This is the disclaimer. My name is Adam. I am a Jewish boy. I am very neurotic that people are gonna get mad at me. I like Jews. I like Christian people. There should be no problem. It's...not that funny

When Jews start eating a traditional Easter Dinner of baked ham I might consider this advice.

I grew up in a Jewish community, and the Chinese restaurants were always packed on Christmas and New Years. I don’t know why it became such a tradition, but it did. That and after the fasting days.

Anecdotal:
Husband and wife run , take out only. He runs out, makes deliveries, she cooks while he’s gone.
My $ 14.00 order, he says, thank you, thank you, thank you,
while bowing.
Has a license plate xxxx-vtrn.
I jokingly ask him, who’s army ?

They get all my take out chinee business. FWIW.

Don’t know how they survived.

Explanation I’d always heard was that Chinese places were commonly all that was open on those days.

I’m not Jewish, but I always assumed this became a habit merely because decades ago EVERYTHING else was closed. Somebody named “Brittany” was probably not born yet.
Nowadays some diners and franchises such as Applebee’s give people more options on Christmas, although Chinese is delicious.
Stupid, bossy article.
